You ever notice all the motivational clichés and phrases that people use to soften the blow before they drop a bomb on you? Or, how about the niceties people use at various times, such as when you see them in the morning or at events.

Cynical ... A word used to describe people who know that even when you make lemonade out of lemons, it can still be sour.
